They're doing funny things today; they never do these things this way. They’re side by side.

 

SCENE ONE 

WOMAN A: What are you doing?

WOMAN B: I'm washing the dishes in the bathtub

WOMAN A: That’s strange. Do you usually watch the dishes in the bathtub?

WOMAN B: No. I never wash the dishes in the bathtub, but I'm washing the dishes in a bathtub today.

WOMAN A: Why are you doing that?

WOMAN B: Because my sink is broken

WOMAN A: I'm sorry to hear that

 

SCENE TWO

MAN A: Hi, Tim.

MAN B: Oh, Hi Charles

MAN A: Tim, What are you doing?

MAN B: I'm washing my kitchen floor

MAN A: But you’re using ordinary soap

MAN B: So, I always use ordinary soap. Don't you use ordinary soap when you wash your kitchen floor?

MAN A: Never, I use “sparkle”. Here, Tim. I have some with me. Let's try it on your floor right now.

MAN B: Wow, look at this for. It’s shining

MAN A: It always shines with “sparkle”

MAN B: No more ordinary soap for me

MAN: What's friend doing?

WOMAN A: She's working late

MAN: working late. What is she doing that?

WOMAN A: It's monday. She always works late on Monday

 

SCENE FOUR

MAN A: What’s Bob doing?

MAN B: He's cooking spaghetti

MAN A: Cooking spaghetti. Why is he doing that?

MAN B:  It's wednesday. He always cooks spaghetti on Wednesday

 

SCENE FIVE

BOY A: What’s Carry doing?

BOY B: He’s bathing his cat

BOY A: Bathing his cat. Why he’s doing that? 

BOY B: It’s Friday. He always baths his cat on Friday
